On CamLED 312 Bi-Color the color temperature can be varied from 3200K (warm color) to 5600K (daylight color) using the built-in variable switch which mixes the 156 pics 3200K led's with the 156 pics of 5600K led's. The process is controlled by a microprocessor that ensures constant brightness of unit when led's are mixed. The same microprocessors ensures smooth transition between colors or dimming.

This broad lighting source is ideal to be mounted on a camera or any place that calls for a highly portable softlight. Measuring 19 x 11.5 x 3.5 cm, the head weighs only 350g. The Cinelight CamLED 312 housing comes outfitted with a 3/8" thread. To mount the CamLED 312 on a photo or video camera, a metal pan-head shoe adapter is included. Using the optional T-Bar two units can be mounted on a light stand.

The Cinelight CamLED 312 kit comes with everything you’ll need in a handy Cordura bag: lamp head, two Li-Ion batteries 2200mAh, charger AC 100V-250V, diffusion acrylic filter, pan-head. The system offers an efficient snap-on battery - Sony DV mount.

Worth the investment. Using it often on a light stand as accent light or rim light. No need for barndoors as it is a diffused lighting source. TIP: when not using it a leave the diffusion filter installed to protect the LED bulbs.

Love this light! Pretty bright and the option to change the color temperature is a big plus for me as a event videographer! I can adjust the look of the light in all situation .. as you know it's hard to find perfect balanced lights these days in location such restaurants where most of them now use compact fluorescent bulbs with different color temperatures 3000K, 4200K, 4800K. I can warm the color of skin just by warming the LED's color. The panel is very lightweight (I was expected to be heavier giving the dimensions) and well constructed with metal knobs and hotshoe mount. I liked that the package has everything you need to start shooting: light, mount, battery, charger, diffusion filter, transport bag...perfect! The runtime is longer if I keep the brightness dimmed to 60%-70% Good investment!
